Wireless not working

Problem

Granular has detected your wireless modem/router/wifi correctly. But the Internet connection or WiFi is not working.

NOTE: In some cases, Granular might not be able to even detect your wireless device.

Solution

The problem may arise due to the lack of proper drivers for your wireless device. The problem gets solved in most cases by installing the packages "madwifi" and "ndiswrapper" using Synaptic Package Manager.
