Panel - Moving, sizing, and justifying the Panel
From Granular Linux Documentation
Tip
Click on the “Cashew” on the right edge of the panel. Temporary work panels will appear. On the first temporary panel you will see arrows on little egg-like items. Use them to change the length of your panel. Drag them with your mouse. (Left click and hold.)
On the second temporary panel you will see five items. The two in the center control the size of your panel icons (Height) and location of the panel (Screen Edge) on your desktop. Click and hold on “Screen Edge.” Now you can drag the entire panel to the top, bottom, left side or right side of your screen.
To make panel icons and the panel larger or smaller, click and hold on “Height.” Drag either up or down to increase or decrease icon size.
To center, left justify, or right justify your panel you must click on “More Settings” on the far right of the second temporary panel. In the “Panel Alignment” section you can select your justification setting. Simply click on your choice.
Notes
- If the cashew icon is not there, widgets must first be unlocked. Simply right-click on the panel (or desktop) and click Unlock Widgets.
- To make the panel stretch to the screen width, click the cashew icon on the panel, then More Settings, and finally Maximize Panel.
