No window borders in Compiz Fusion

Problem

On using CompizFusion, the windows appear with no borders.

Solution

Make sure you have the proper drivers for your graphics card/system installed or configured correctly. You can install drivers corresponding to your card using Synaptic Package Manager. Granular also included Video Installation Tool (VIT) that makes installing graphics drivers easy.

In Granular 1.0, drivers for NVIDIA and ATi cards are included. You need to only setup your card using either NVIDIA Settings or ATi Catalyst Control Center, depending on your card.
