Introduction

Getting connected to the Internet is probably one of the first tasks a user does when setting up the system to his/her preferences. Connecting to the Internet in Granular is quite easy. All you need to know is what type of connection you have, and you are off.

The steps to making a new connection follow.

Dial-up Connection

Although most of the modern times computer users don't use the dial-up method to connect to the Internet and use some alternative ways, still there are users who do use a dial-up connection. If you are one of them, follow these steps:

Other Connection Types (LAN, DSL, ISDN...)

Follow these steps if you have one of the following connection types:

Setting up the connection is very easy here. Just open Granular Control Center and go to Network & Internet > Set up a new network interface. There, select the desired connection type, click Next, and an appropriate wizard will start that will guide you through the rest of connection setup. Getting-connected.png
