Enlightenment
Enlightenment is a window manager. Enlightenment is a desktop shell. Enlightenment is the building blocks to create beautiful applications. Enlightenment, or simply e, is a group of people trying to make a new generation of software.
Enlightenment is another ultra-fast desktop environment available. It is also known for the beautiful looks it provides the user with. The version of Enlightenment included in Granular 1.0 Preview is Enlightenment 0.17, also known as E17.
E17 is capable of running on most of the older hardware and on the same hand providing all the eye candy.
E is the secondary desktop environment in Granular's standard CD edition.

Which edition of Granular comes out with E?
The yearly DVD edition, Granular FunWorks comes with E pre-installed. E has now replaced Xfce in the CD version.
